Sold As Set Label Guide

Why Use a Sold As Set Label?

Amazon Pick and Packers rifle through a lot of products. When diving through bins they make quick decisions. They need a lot of help to act quickly. Products packaged together need a ‘sold as a set’ label. Otherwise, Amazon employees will unpack your products into individual units.

How to Use a Sold As Set Label?

Apply a the label to product packaging for pairs of units. In fact, place the label on the package’s sealed area. This provides physical and visual que Amazon Pick n’ Packers. What does it communicate? It says, “do not open me” – physically & visually. In addition, make sure your label is big! We recommend a 4 x 6 label. These are large and unapologetic. They leave little room for confusion. Alternatively, you can go with bright green labels too.

Coupling Labels

A 4 x 6 label offers additional benefits. You can print one of several messages on the sold as set label. For example, you can print your FNSKU label barcode on there. Alternatively, you can print a suffocation warning on there too. Lastly, if you are brandy savvy, print your brand logo on there.

What Packaging Gets a Sold As Set Label?

Any bundle, kit, coupling, or pair of products receives a set label. Moreover, any packaging can receive the label. Apply it on boxes, polybags or shrunk wrapped items. Otherwise, Amazon will open the set. For example, if you have a polybag of three shampoo items – apply the label on the bag. Do not apply the label on the small parcel shipping the bag. Note, this primarily applies to retail arbitrage sellers. Private label sellers use packaging to indicate when products are sold together. For example, an inner box will be branded with their logo. It will be self sealing. Most importantly, It will be difficult to separate by the pic and packer. Overall, make sure you keep notes on your product prep. Know when Amazon requires you to sell as a set. Prep your sold as set label accordingly!
